Oysters are mysterious little creatures. I am drawn to their little alien bodies, sheltered in their iridescent shells protecting them from their environment. They have long been symbols of femininity, often associated with fertility and womanhood. They hold pearls — pearls of possibility and hope. pearls of innocence, pearls of opportunity. I love the mystery of their creation, how something seemingly so raw and rough can create such a precious treasure.

Each print is cut by hand and packaged individually in a clear sleeve with backing board to be shipped in a rigid flat mailer (small print) or rolled up in protective tissue paper and shipped in a sturdy tube (large print).
