Process Details: The key, shell, and star motifs are mounted to float above the background, allowing for beautiful shadow-play in the sunshine! I cut mat board to size, covered it in cotton canvas using an archival adhesive, and mixed a custom acrylic paint color to stain the mat to complement the composition.
